They’re shaping up quite nicely so far, but not sure how they’ll fair with the weather suddenly turning cooler.
In any case, I hope you have a wonderful weekend my friends.
It’s almost mid November and Bahrain’s weather is still in the 30s C. No wonder the plants are confused. The banana tree is showing a new crop, in November!
Although it’s Friday the 13th today, do have a fantastic and peaceful Friday my friends.
Wishing you all a fantastic and peaceful Friday my friends.
A butterfly on the lantana. Happy Friday my friends.
“Wat Aroon” the Temple of Dawn, Bangkok, Thailand
They’re almost “normal” in Bangkok, adeniums are all over the place and they flourish, puts mine to shame and eggs me to do better.
Well, thanks to a friend, I received 5 adeniums grown from seed in Bahrain. After this trip to Thailand, I finally know how and where I want to plant them.
Thanks Jean!
Have a wonderful Friday my friends.
It seeded itself from another that unfortunately died. But I’m really glad that it took matters into its own hands. It’s still a very small bush by the front door but I look forward to it filling that space.
Have a wonderful Friday my friends.
The Buddha Patch survived the summer a lot better than I expected this time. Even the bamboo seem to have finally taken root and are really getting on. Buddha is happy!
Have a wonderful weekend my friends.
Happy Friday!
There isn’t much happening in the garden at the moment; end of summer, still hot and barely recovering from the onslaught on the house by the painters. Only the toughest plants are flowering at the moment: this portulaca in the Cauldron, some lantanas and of course the frangipanis.
I hope you’re having a wonderful Friday and even better weekend my friends.
Gharra is one of the sweetest dates available. It usually is one of the first varieties to become available in the summer.
I hope your Friday was peaceful. I wish you a fantastic rest of the weekend.
