Adeniums in Wat Aroon temple

“Wat Aroon” the Temple of Dawn, Bangkok, Thailand

They’re almost “normal” in Bangkok, adeniums are all over the place and they flourish, puts mine to shame and eggs me to do better.

Well, thanks to a friend, I received 5 adeniums grown from seed in Bahrain. After this trip to Thailand, I finally know how and where I want to plant them.

Thanks Jean!

Have a wonderful Friday my friends.

New Plumeria

I bought this new king of plumeria from a garden centre this morning and promptly found a place for it in my garden.

Plumeria

I have no idea what type of plumeria it is. You could clearly see that it’s leaves are a bit “weird” and unlike any frangipani I have seen before. The garden centre didn’t have the Latin name (of course) so it should be fun trying to properly identifying it. If you could help, please enter a comment with my thanks.

Have a wonderful and peaceful weekend my friends.

ehm: identified as Plumeria Pudica, reportedly one of the best you can get. I’ll reserve judgment for a while if you don’t mind. I’m pretty partial to most kinds of Plumerias so I’ll see how this one fairs.

Happy Friday!

There isn’t much happening in the garden at the moment; end of summer, still hot and barely recovering from the onslaught on the house by the painters. Only the toughest plants are flowering at the moment: this portulaca in the Cauldron, some lantanas and of course the frangipanis.

I hope you’re having a wonderful Friday and even better weekend my friends.
