Temperature and Hardiness Zones

These temperatures are referred to as “average annual minimum temperatures”. The different zones represent areas of winter hardiness for agricultural and natural landscape plants.

Zone 2: -50˚ to -40˚
Zone 3: -40˚ to -30˚
Zone 4: -30˚ to -20˚
Zone 5: -20˚ to -10˚
Zone 6: -10˚ to 0˚
Zone 7: 0˚ to 10˚
Zone 8: 10˚ to 20˚
Zone 9: 20˚ to 30˚
Zone 10: 30˚ to 40˚

We can safely say that Bahrain falls between Zone 8 – 10, with 8 for the Winter months that typically does not extend beyond 3 months, while 9 and 10 represents the temperatures we can expect for the remainder of the year.
