This is the first of four Strelitzias to flower. This plant is 3 years old and this is only the second time that it blooms.

that every time I wash the plants in the garden, the weather turns dusty again?
pisses me off! It was wonderful this morning. I did a lot of work in the garden; weeding, washing, cleaning, re-tying, and general fixing, but now looking out of the window, the bloody thing is turning ugly with dust being deposited on the bloody plants I took care to wash this morning.

I was pleasantly surprised when I followed a link from my other blog and ended up at Plants in The Middle East! Another gardening blog from Bahrain. Brilliant.
I’m looking forward to read more of his techniques and experiments and judging by what has been posted so far, it is very promising indeed.

My banana tree is bearing fruit! Just got back from Morocco to this scene, I am very excited and can’t wait to sample its wares!
