I bought this lovely plant from the Sultan Garden Centre in Khobar a couple of days ago. The very helpful employee there unfortunately mislabeled it and I am at a loss as to what it actually is called.

Could this be a giant Spathyphylum (Peace Lily)?
That would have been my guess, as well. I worked at a shopping mall taking care of the indoor plants, and we had a lot of plants that looked just like that, that were spathyphylums.
If it is, it will bloom occasionaly and you’ll get calla lily looking white flowers.
It blooming will be proof positive that it is some kind of Spathyphylum. I suppose I’ll just have to be patient and see what happens.
That’s definitely one of the bigger types of Spathiphyllum.
I’m waiting for the flower. I wonder how big the sail will be!
